Coming up........

A comprehensive review of Ace Combat 6. In this review, we will go into what worked, and certainly what didn't(which is a lot more than the fanboys would have you believe). Did you like Whiskey Corridor in Ace Combat 4? I sure as hell didn't, and many fanboys feel the same, yet these very same people foam at the mouth for AC6 missions. I hope I can get some screengrabs(well figure out how, at least), as I do not want to rely on imagery already on the net. Besides, most of the imagery on the net consists of AC6 fighters with Mobius 1/Razgriz emblems sprayed all over the aircraft with some absolutely terrible photoshopping done. The new kids think its awesome, I think its lame. When a sig on a forum makes the design on an Air Force Delta plane look bad......

Overrated? In some areas yes. Far superior to previous Ace Combat games? Same answer. Fun online play? Yes but there are certainly some facets of that which needed a ton of work. Over hyped, fan worshipped, demi god, seemingly immortal but you don't know what happens to him in the end anyways because Namco never follows up open ended name character with a catchy name? Well, this is Ace Combat, what did you expect? OF COURSE the main character is like that! Gone are the days when your call sign was simple, like "Scarface", and that was that. No, the recent trend has been to hype up the main character played by you, into the immortal virtual extension of an armchair general who thinks he is manning a fighter in the skies with a console game. That is definitely one thing that has stayed the same in the last few games.

We won't be giving this game 10/10's folks, it doesn't deserve it, at all. Its a great game brought down by factors that should have been fixed before release. Anyways, I'll save the rest for the interview.

Use pointy brackets, not the staple-looking ones!
